John Turci-Escobar John Turci-Escobar has DJ’d in milongas, marathons, and festivals since 2009, and is honored and thrilled to participate in the first San Antonio Tango Festival (SATF).
He teaches at The University of Texas at Austin’s Butler School of Music, and holds a Ph.D in music theory from Yale University. John lectures and writes on tango music, dance, and culture. He grew up in Argentina and has strong family roots in Buenos Aires.
